I dont think that you could perma ban a devise like that. All it does is transfer files from your box to your computer, id say thats probably not true.

I have XSATA and it works fine i just used it yesterday so I dont think that is true

XSATA / XPORT is hardware. For that to not work, you would need an actual Hardware update, not a Software update. The xsata connects directly to the HardDrive, the only way to stop that, is by releasing an updated/blocked version of the harddrive. Which no one will buy.

I dont think this cant be true because xsata is auchual hard ware they can't really ban it. Its kinda like they cant ban you for taking apart you hdd and transferring that way.
