TheMasterSnail Posted June 9, 2008 Report Posted June 9, 2008 I just wanted to inform you that my dads best friend is in intensive care after fishing at his lake when he swung his fishing pole back and into a power line. he was stuck there for around a minute with thousends of volts passing through his body before a farmer came to his aid by by kicking him off the power cables grip as the fishing pole had melted to his hands. He is currently in intensive care being treated for burns to the hands and and legs. It is a miracle he survived because the current was flowing through his heart and other organs for an agonising 60 seconds. If he survives he will be lucky to ever walk again as his knees and feet are almost burnt off. I hope he gets well soon because he was very lucky to survive and it would be a shame if he died in hospital because of his injuries. Please wish Robert well he didn't deserve this.
