iBotPeaches Posted May 21, 2008 Report Posted May 21, 2008 The mod author feels out of credit. Doesn't get to witness the emotion of it. Feels ripped off, and better off other people get credit even though he wants it. Its mostly an ethical thing.
Sweeney Posted May 21, 2008 Author Report Posted May 21, 2008 Ah, ok I get it. Well hopefully skinning is still possible in H3 modding. We can finally leave our marks on the maps.
blacklabelfosho Posted May 21, 2008 Report Posted May 21, 2008 i think right now leaking isn't a big deal...most of the people who are able to make mods...are very well knownplus most of the mods right now are kindof just like random crap thrown all over the map
SmokiestGrunl Posted May 21, 2008 Report Posted May 21, 2008 plus most of the mods right now are kindof just like random crap thrown all over the map LoL, they are getting better, slowly. It would be faster if the bastards that are keeping everything to themselves just released everything. I remember the first halo 3 mod I played, (it was the only reason I put halo 3 in my 360 since its release) it was on the zanziba remake and it just had random s*** every where.
nielsss Posted May 21, 2008 Report Posted May 21, 2008 The main reason i think leaking is bad because for example, the reason i dont release my mods that quick is because the person who signs for me might get in crap if "some" people found out that he was signing. And then i dont get any more mods resigned. When i get my own con signer i will start releasing mods and signing for people, maybe even think about making a "Request section" or just releas the con signer depending on how i got the con signer in the 1st place.
iKhaosmaster Posted May 31, 2008 Report Posted May 31, 2008 the author feels as if he didn't make the map and felt like he could trust the person who leaked it
zZDarkLegacyZz Posted May 31, 2008 Report Posted May 31, 2008 I dont think its bad at all Some so, some dont
Tommy2st Posted June 10, 2008 Report Posted June 10, 2008 i think its a good thing as long as the mod gets credit
LXV Grizzly Posted June 12, 2008 Report Posted June 12, 2008 I dont really have a problem with leakers, as long as they give credit where credit is due.
illusive Posted June 14, 2008 Report Posted June 14, 2008 because some people dont want other people to see their mods cause then the modz would become old and no one would like them
