aacidd Posted May 9, 2008 Report Posted May 9, 2008 After installing everything I go to my ACP and click .mods tab and i get this error every $%#^%# time Parse error: syntax error, unexpected T_STRING in /home/compton/public_html/lhforum/includes/acp/acp_points.php on line 1
Curtis Posted May 9, 2008 Report Posted May 9, 2008 I'm sorry but... IM GETTING SICK OF THIS. We have sections for a reason. Please keep your problems there! GODzzzzzzzzzzzzzz. I wish i was mod and i could fix problems like this.
aacidd Posted May 9, 2008 Author Report Posted May 9, 2008 and where exactly do you suggest this goes?
iBotPeaches Posted May 9, 2008 Report Posted May 9, 2008 Parse error: syntax error, unexpected T_STRING in /home/compton/public_html/lhforum/includes/acp/acp_points.php on line 1 That means a DOM signature was added, since line 1 is corrupt. Use a better text editor instead of notepad to save these, and re-upload using FlashFXP or FileZilla because something you did during transfer messed up that file.
aacidd Posted May 11, 2008 Author Report Posted May 11, 2008 I used dreamweaver. I'm still getting this error and I'm using filezilla to upload them.
iBotPeaches Posted May 11, 2008 Report Posted May 11, 2008 Well thats the issue, so filezilla is adding a DOM signature which causes line 1 to fail. Try internet explorer, FireBug, CoreFTP
aacidd Posted May 11, 2008 Author Report Posted May 11, 2008 Ok, now that I can access the .mods tab in my ACP, once i go through all the options and enable it and stuff It doesn't seem to .. well work. like i dont see ne way users can donate points to eachother i dont see a spot that shows the points of each user and so on its like the mod doesnt exist.
iBotPeaches Posted May 11, 2008 Report Posted May 11, 2008 The mod doesn't exist because every file you uploaded got a DOM signature which added that error so get like SmartFTP and re-check your edits and re-upload the files. That is the common error always, there is never a "quote" error in the actual mod. Unless you find one, otherwise your causing the errors.
