I am trying to succesfully create a whole XBOX 360 case all out of plexiglas, so far i have everything figured out...BUT the only problem i am having is how to do the power button in the front . I was thinking to solder a new switch to the front panel of the new plexiglas case...but i dont want to mess it up, plus i wont have the ring of light.

 

Any ideas or comments would be greatly appreciated!

I dunno if this would be a reasonable choice for you but......

 

I would just drill a tiny hole in the plexiglas and just push a paperclip through when I want to turn it on. It wouldn't be very practical but it would look cool.

 

Another option would be to practice some soldering on a xbox 1.

you may be able to find a clear faceplate on ebay but it may not me plexi glass

Because you may not like the idea of pushing a paperclip through a hole every time you want to turn it on.
