fattwam Posted April 18, 2008 Report Posted April 18, 2008 I didn't know where to put this cause it is not advanced but whateverPics have been scaled down to view in full click pic How To Make a Torrent Using uTorrent Tools Needed: 1.uTorrent Program- CLICK HERE TO DOWNLOAD!!! 2.Create a folder on your desktop or where ever called Torrents. 3.All the files you wish to upload place in a ".zip" file and then place in the folder you made on your desktop or where ever. Making the zip file a torrent file!Open uTorrent and click the little magic wand in the top left corner, it will bring up a tab saying "Create New Torrent" click "Add File" this will also bring a new tab up saying "Select a File", click on desktop or where ever you created your folder and click on one of the ".zip" files you made in this case "Windows XP Home Edition", click open. Once you have selected the file you will notice a white box saying trackers you may use your own trackers you have found or you can use these ones i am providing you with, simply copy and paste these in the box: http://tracker.miivi.org/announce http://open.tracker.thepiratebay.org/announce http://tracker.bitebbs.com:6969/announce http://www.torrent-downloads.to:2710/announce http://denis.stalker.h3q.com:6969/announce Tracker software serves up torrent files for download from a Web site. The tracker maintains information about all BitTorrent clients utilizing each torrent. Specifically, the tracker identifies the network location of each client either uploading or downloading the P2P file associated with a torrent. It also tracks which fragment(s) of that file each client possesses, to assist in efficient data sharing between clients. BitTorrent clients connect to a tracker when attempting to work with torrent files. The tracker notifies the client of the P2P file location (that is normally on a different, remote server). If the BitTorrent tracker fails or is taken offline, clients will be unable to continue sharing those P2P files. A tracker normally utilizes TCP port 6969 for network communications. Now you have copy & pasted the trackers we can move on just below trackers is a little check box saying "Start Seeding" make sure that is click and it will automatically seed. All there is left now is to click "Create and Save as.." Once you have clicked "create and save as.." you will need to save it in a certain place my best recommendation is saving it in the same folder as your ".zip" so once again search on your desktop or where ever and find the folder and save the torrent file in the folder. Now if you look in your desktop folder saved as "Torrents" you will notice the to files saved there the .zip file and the torrent file. You will now notice that when you open uTorrent your file is seeding this means it is working. Now to Spread Your Torrent file Here are a few sites in which you can upload your torrent file: SeedPeer.com MiniNova.com TorrentValley.com Fulldls.com There are many more there are only a few to get you started. To upload a torrent file to a website you need to keep the zip file and torrent file, you must not delete the zip file when the torrent is seeding as the peer will have no file to download from. Ok once you on a site you follow the same steps, look for the upload tab and click it, now you should see a tab saying "Browse" click that and search for your torrets folder saved on your desktop and find your torrent file in this case its "windows XP Home Edition.torrent" MAKE SURE you do NOT upload the zip file. You should now fill out the other nessecary information this is fairly straight forward. If this worked sucessfully it will say some thing like Thank you or your file is Successfully uploaded some thing along them lines.
