Magnificent for a 3rd tag.

Try using more than 1color in the background (brown), some grunge brushes would work good with that type of render go to deviantart.com for some brushes that you can download for free(sorry if i'm advertising). Also when i am near the end of the sig i always go to the blending options and do random things that give me cool effects you may want to try that too.

the edges look really sharp

try blending over the edges of the render with your background so the img as a whole looks to flow

Its good. I agree 100% with Black. The only thing I am going to say is don't get use to using Lens flares as your light source. Its ok for now but if you want to improve I would recommend using radial gradients and photofilters to get a better light. still a good sig.

I added a border, some text (not sure if I should keep it), got rid of the lense flare, and tried to make it blend a bit more. Tell me what you think.

I just think that image is WAY overused. Otherwise, I like it better than a flaming one. Great job.
