well when i try to dl a h2 mod it says save file, well should i then how would i get it on my 360 were i play halo? and what is that program enity, how do dled mods go to my h2 game on my 360. God please reply.

A halo 2 mod must be patched via a patching program. Like PPF-O-MATIC or SPPF or SERENITY.

So you download the patch file, and patch it using one of those programs depending on patch to the clean map which you obtain through your xbox on FTP.

 

Sorry If your used to just filesharing Halo 3 modz, this is alot harder.

ok whatever this is will i need to download any programs, and will it slow down my computer.

When your running the programs? Yes

You don't install them, they just run through the folder there in, its because were not into changing registries just giving you the file.

Open it with dothalo (better for starters)...then read some modding tutorials for beginners.

thats a huge file, i never used it but you may if you want.

barrier removal tool (you will want this)

easy flying biped(character) i recommend using this for only one biped type (spartan only or elite only) it's not like your system will freeze i just reccomend that.

Its the same thing for every program. It only slows your computer using just as much as firefox. So install, and uninstall if you want.

 

It only slows as your use the program. Exit it out and its back to normal

Dot Halo is your "one good program" Dot halo can do all those things i just gave you those just make it simple.

Take the map off your 360 using xsata open it in Dot halo mod it then close dot halo and open the map with one of the programs i gave you (one at a time not at the same time.) Once you are done modding use a resigner open the map on that resign it (it will have a thing you click that says resign). Then put it back whre you got it from on your 360 THE EXACT SAME FOLDER.

simply

put the map in a foleder on your desktop

mod the map (you only need Dothalo and the resigner the other stuff made it so you could open and do a small mod quickly)

resign

put back on xplorer 360

And yes your 360 doesn need to be connected otherwise you can not open xplorer 360.

Your 360 does not need to be connected to the internet.

You need to make the folder make one that says clean maps and one that says modded maps and one that says programs and put all those folders into a folder labeled halo 2 modding stuff.

That's pretty much it...

i know if i SAVE dothalo can i make it an ICON PROGRAM. do not tell me anything else, just tell me what i need to do in steps to make dothalo a Program ready for use at the start menu.
