SmokiestGrunl Posted April 12, 2008 Report Posted April 12, 2008 The xbox's PSU has like 300volts in it an I got an electric shock from it. There is a burn on the tip of my left index finger. I spent a day in hospital with a lot of heart problems, the shock felt like being hit with a car. I know people have had worst but it was too much for me....

iBotPeaches Posted April 12, 2008 Report Posted April 12, 2008 I take my shoes off, and I have a ESD carpet that discharges quite alot of electrical current, but then again. I spray paint xboxes every week, so I get that.

I had the xbox parts inside the computer case turned it on but it didn't work, so i tryed to push the power cord in more to the PSU and thats when boom I got the electric shock. My parents made me take apart the xbox-PC when I got home from hospital, so no more xbox-PC . I did get it give the xbox case a cool paint though .
