Minute by minute, second by second..the movie gets better. Not entirely gory, but an excellently portrayed suspense thriller. The Ruins makes you cringe, makes your hand reach out to close ur eyes at least for a second...it did for me. Well, though its the same old "group-of-friends-having-fun-in-the-beginning -only-to-get-into-trouble-later" kinda story, THIS one stands apart...hats off to the director/script...he has a given a new lease of life to such story lines with some excellent characterization. I'm sure I've seen at least 3 of those 4 friends in some flick before. Well, since its a suspense horror/thriller...I can't reveal much info about the movie...but I can assure you that however strong-hearted you may be, there is bound to be at least one scene, where you are gonna be caught unaware.
