CS.....:S?

Does anyone play and CS:S here, or even have a server? Just wondering...

yeah CS 1.6 is great i don't have my server up anymore though.

i didn't like source as much as 1.6

 

i ended up getting bored of playing the same old Cal servers...

so i switched to warcraft mod and other modded servers

and they made me re-enjoy the game that i was starting to get bored of

i ended up having my own warcraft mod server...

and it was up for a good 2 years, before people finally started getting bored of it, so i took it down.

 

have they made modded servers like this for source yet?

 

also, after i got bored of my warcraft mod

i switched to pro jump maps.

they kept my interest for a good couple of months

but died down very quickly...

the jumps were very predictable after a while

i have CS:S but im going buy a new computer so i can play it with out it lagging so much cus my computer is like 5 years old and i haven't upgraded it in forever

I play CS:S sometimes. IMO I think CS:S is better than cs 1.6.

yeah IMO Cs:s is better cause i can spray and pray easier

Spraying takes actual skill in 1.6. You can't be walking forward holding down the fire button in the general direction of the guys head and hs him without incredible luck. Most likely the guy will take a second to aim and make a crater in your face if you run at him spraying. In 1.6 you have to aim the cursor way under the guy to spray him accurately, and it's different for every gun and varries ridiculously by distance. It's an acquired skill in 1.6, something to work on and get good at, not an effective strategy for the "what button is reload" guy.
