shadowrckt Posted July 7, 2012 Report Posted July 7, 2012 I downloaded the maps for halo 2 when they first came out but they don't seem to be on my hard drive anymore (angry hard drive? rofl) ANYWAY, i was wondering if there was a way to play my modded maps on my 360 without having to go pay for the maps all over again with that disk. i do have the maps now but i was wondering i guess if there was a way to put them on my hard drive so that it would read them like normal
o1upo Posted July 7, 2012 Report Posted July 7, 2012 Hmm I'm not so sure about that let me do some research.
shadowrckt Posted July 7, 2012 Author Report Posted July 7, 2012 thanks =) cause i looked on the dashboard and h2 stuff isn't even there anymore (boo)
iBotPeaches Posted July 7, 2012 Report Posted July 7, 2012 Is this a modded / JTAG 360? If so, install the backwards compatible hacked files. Then you can replicate the structure like you would do on an original xbox. 1
shadowrckt Posted July 7, 2012 Author Report Posted July 7, 2012 no, its normal, im looking for a jtagged one to buy still =/there's one for sale near me but its $45 so it's a little too sketchy for me
fattwam Posted July 7, 2012 Report Posted July 7, 2012 Hmm i got another question that pertains to this. I can access my xbox (not jtag just regular xbox) files through xport or whatever. Since you can't freely download them from live being not able to go on halo 2 i still have all the maps on my computer. If i just transfer them to my xbox and put them where they should go can i load them up without any problems ? Im wanting to do some xbc modding.

You'd need the signed package files which pertain to your console. I don't know how to re-sign that junk to work on your console. Thats why you need the jtag to run the unsigned compatibility .xex files then you can just load the maps by dumping them in some location. 1
fattwam Posted July 8, 2012 Report Posted July 8, 2012 Hmm what is i use a original xbox ? Just resign with a h2 map signer then go or still not ?
iBotPeaches Posted July 8, 2012 Report Posted July 8, 2012 Hmm what is i use a original xbox ? Just resign with a h2 map signer then go or still not ? o wait. You were talking about orig xbox. lol
fattwam Posted July 8, 2012 Report Posted July 8, 2012 No i was asking about my 360 but my friend doesn't have a jtag and wants to mod like we used to in h2 so was wondering if he could do it with his 360 but if not i think he can get one of the original ones for cheap if he doesn't still have his original console.
