iBotPeaches Posted May 2, 2012 Report Posted May 2, 2012 http://ibotmodz.net/forum/tutorials/article/33-jtag-hack-an-xbox-360/ Its an unfinished tutorial, but it'll get you started. What is the model revision? What is Manufacturer date?
mod Posted May 3, 2012 Author Report Posted May 3, 2012 (edited) were can i find the Manufacturer date. And the model revision? there is no case to this console :/ Edited May 3, 2012 by mod
iBotPeaches Posted May 3, 2012 Report Posted May 3, 2012 Use this to find the information: http://team-xecuter.com/forums/showthread.php?t=76989 orhttp://www.xbox-scene.com/versions-xbox360-power-port.php As for the LPT port, I think you can use USB with Nandpro D. With your current knowledge, I don't think your ready for a JTAG as your bound to break it. I'd take the next month and learn about what your about to do. What a JTAG can do. Why you need one, etc. Then start the progress. You said in the first post, "one i am aware of the Console manufature date". So why not just repeat it? I'm curious so I can figure out your version somewhat.
mod Posted May 3, 2012 Author Report Posted May 3, 2012 i thought the dashboard version was the manufature date. what am i thinking my bad. And as for Lpt to usb it does not work i have to order a LPT card reader i need to look this over this alot more.

The dashboard version is located under Settings -> About on the xbox dashboard software.
iBotPeaches Posted May 4, 2012 Report Posted May 4, 2012 right but no i have no xbox case epic right Then you'll have to go along the JTAG process and hope for the best. Or find some serial number on your case and use that.
mod Posted May 4, 2012 Author Report Posted May 4, 2012 there is no case to this console so i really hmmm idk is there a different way to find out the manufacturer date?
iBotPeaches Posted May 4, 2012 Report Posted May 4, 2012 there is no case to this console so i really hmmm idk is there a different way to find out the manufacturer date? The MFR date is just needed to check if its jtaggable. Its not part of the actual process at all. So you can continue the process and just hope it is taggable. If its a Xenon board, chances are it is. You can follow that link I posted a few posts back about identifying your mobo type.
