chederz Posted February 29, 2008 Report Posted February 29, 2008 My NAT is on strict, and i have done port fowarding. I also have a D-Link DVG-1120M gateway(idk if you need it or not). Also I'm trying to open my routers page from internet explorer and from network magic and it says "Internet Explorer cannot display this webpage" or it just searches at google. So can you(probably Peaches) help me with this and my NAT?
SmokiestGrunl Posted February 29, 2008 Report Posted February 29, 2008 See if using firefox fixes your problem. Peaches can be as active for a while so I will try to help you for now.
iBotPeaches Posted February 29, 2008 Report Posted February 29, 2008 Yeah sure. Okay. Go to CMD (Command Prompt) and type in ipconfig Random numbers associated with words will pop up. Look for the one that says "Default Gateway" Then memorize that number. Open up Firefox prefarably and type in that default gateway up. Once that happens, if a type of config panel comes up, Screenshot that and post it here. I don't know what options you have, so I really can't directly tell you what to do , as its different with D-Link, Belvin, Linksys, etc.
chederz Posted February 29, 2008 Author Report Posted February 29, 2008 I know my IP address and i don't have firefox, this has happened before and i reset the router and it worked, but i don't really want to reset it again but i guess i have to. Also what do i port foward, my router or gateway or both? *EDIT* I got on to my default gateway address and took a screenshot but i can't paste it on to my post(I'm probably retarded). Also i went to the default gateway that my command prompt told me and on that page it said that my default gateway was something different. Default GatewayCommand Prompt-192.168.15.30Router Page-192.168.15.25 Those aren't the actual ones, but they are different. The second link takes me to my D-Link 1120M Gateway, so once again which one do i port forward on(Router or Gateway).
iBotPeaches Posted March 2, 2008 Report Posted March 2, 2008 I CANT help you without a screenshot I'm not that much of a genius to memorize router config panels for each router. Simply click "PrtScn" on keyboard.Open up PaintClick "CNTRL V"Save as image.bmpthen PM that too me, so no one can see that IP. I wont do anything with it.
