Sure the xbox 360 is a great console, but lately I've been moving toward pc gaming for lots of reasons. (I just had an argument with someone about which is better. guess who?)

  • No monthly payment for online play
  • games are usually a bit cheaper
  • much better graphics
  • keyboard and mouse offer more control in rts games
  • modding is much easier (in some cases game devs release map creators and stuff)
  • customization of computers make games truly sweet. (My cousin plays WoW with 3 monitors)
  • xbox 360 controller works with 99% of all games
  • who needs a player cap of only 16-24??
  • rts games are actually fun! lol

My computer hasn't RROD'd yet, but my xbox has.

Also, my computer does a helluva lot more than gaming.

And I'm going laugh when Battlefield 3 comes out.

Each are in their own league, no contest.

I agree with this to a degree. However I believe that xboxs are budget options, more geared for younger audiences, familys and parties. PCs are for more for hardcore gamers who want the ultimate in performance, customization and control. PCs absolutely suck parties and such, because you don't have split screen etc. (exception being lan parties). I liked my xbox for casual gaming and playing with my friends, but otherwise I'm PC all the way.

Also, a major plus for PCs:

HARDLY ANY SCREAMING 7 YEAR OLDS!!!!

Downside being price, with the cost of my cards alone, I could buy 3 or more xboxs.

I making the move to PC right now. After I heard MS is planning to keep the xbox 360 up and running for "years to come". Yeah, **** that, it's already running six year old hardware. Might as well be a Panasonic 3DO. Well maybe it's not that bad. Edited by Slidell
