.MeLo♥ Posted March 26, 2011 Report Posted March 26, 2011 Hey peaches what capture card do you use?? is it compatible with ps3 and xbox? tyvm sir <3
fattwam Posted March 26, 2011 Report Posted March 26, 2011 Where have you seen His video quality ? Cause i would like to see it.Currently im using a Pinnacle 710-USB using S-Video
iBotPeaches Posted March 26, 2011 Report Posted March 26, 2011 My card isn't even HD Its the Dazzle 170, but the secret is how you treat the recorded film. I always run my film through a sharpener and tiny Gaussian blur in Vegas to make it look HDish.
fattwam Posted March 26, 2011 Report Posted March 26, 2011 What do you record with and what is your raw video file type ?
Randomrocket Posted March 26, 2011 Report Posted March 26, 2011 Get yourself a Hauppauge HD PVR from newegg. Records in HD and is perfectly compatible with xbox and ps3. I own it and I like it a lot.
iBotPeaches Posted March 26, 2011 Report Posted March 26, 2011 What do you record with and what is your raw video file type ? A HD TV, but then the raw form is mpg of 720x480px. Then I take those an edit them.
fattwam Posted March 27, 2011 Report Posted March 27, 2011 Wait the TV records for you ? No software ?What Mpeg ?
iBotPeaches Posted March 27, 2011 Report Posted March 27, 2011 Whoops. No the TV feeds to Dazzle 170 which feeds to Pinnacle Studio 12 which records it in mpeg2.

matty0 Posted April 4, 2011 Report Posted April 4, 2011 Ugh i feel like if i ever got a capture card i wouldnt now how to set it up... Someone should make a tutorial for it..if you would be wanting to capture just from your xbox, i could do a tut for you when i get home next weeked. if you want to record just from a telly things get different...
Randomrocket Posted April 4, 2011 Report Posted April 4, 2011 if you would be wanting to capture just from your xbox, i could do a tut for you when i get home next weeked. if you want to record just from a telly things get different...not much different. Just plug the wires from your TV OUT into your cap card. Or plug your Directv(or whatever) directly into your cap card
matty0 Posted April 5, 2011 Report Posted April 5, 2011 not much different. Just plug the wires from your TV OUT into your cap card. Or plug your Directv(or whatever) directly into your cap cardmost tv's dont have a tv out... i've owned 4 tv's in my life and only 1 did. wheras with the xbox, if you use the component HD cable, the non HD wires are still outputting at the same time so you can wire them up to your nonHD cap card, while playing on your HDTV

matty0 Posted April 5, 2011 Report Posted April 5, 2011 but then you got no audiothe way i get around that is a phono 1-in to 2-out splitter. but if you're low on cash, you could always just plug your audio phono leads into the cap card and just do without it on the xbox while you game. for montages etc thats a decent way to work
