gruntmods Posted August 26, 2010 Report Posted August 26, 2010 good thing Im in America you mean the country that descended form england?
matty0 Posted August 26, 2010 Report Posted August 26, 2010 you mean the country that descended form england?the country england didnt want anymore
Randomrocket Posted August 26, 2010 Report Posted August 26, 2010 you mean the country that descended form england?actually America was discovered by a Spaniard. And the people that colonized it came there because they didnt like the way their country was, they wanted a new start, or wanted religious freedom. Celebrating Christmas falls under 2 out of 3 of those categories. And we have freedom of religion so I guess that means Christmas is still legal here. the country england didnt want anymore Which is why you guys fought so much for us.

Randomrocket Posted August 27, 2010 Report Posted August 27, 2010 it was colonized by the English and French mostly, who then had a brutal bloody war until the English eventually won....................and? lol
gruntmods Posted August 27, 2010 Report Posted August 27, 2010 ...................and? lolso your entire country is descended from the english.
Randomrocket Posted August 27, 2010 Report Posted August 27, 2010 so your entire country is descended from the english.I wouldnt say "entire". But we got our basics from the English. We took out the accent, parliament, and King and made it even better. Like Christmas
DarkRuler Posted August 27, 2010 Report Posted August 27, 2010 Christmas was originally a pagan holiday where people made sacrifices and brought gifts to give to their gods on the Winter Solstice then the christ and god fanatics changed it into the fake day that christ was born in, even though he was actually born sometime in the fall (nope, not Easter either. Easter is about the birth of the Easter Bunny named Hippity Hop)
.Slack♠ Posted August 28, 2010 Report Posted August 28, 2010 All of you are wrong there were many settler's before Columbus arrived. The Viking, Black Slaves abandoned by the Spaniards that went to Georgia, The Spanish and French who battled in Florida and Even the Dutch who were in Albany all settled before Columbus got to the Americas.

.Slack♠ Posted August 29, 2010 Report Posted August 29, 2010 they all left or were defeated so im still right.......except they didnt... then it wouldnt be considered settling.
gruntmods Posted August 29, 2010 Report Posted August 29, 2010 except they didnt... then it wouldnt be considered settling. The vikings never had a long term settlement.
Lockon Posted August 29, 2010 Report Posted August 29, 2010 The vikings never had a long term settlement. The Vikings left because of the English. So they stayed in Ireland and Scotland while they still we're independent. Then the English tried to take over the world with Britannia then failed. Knowledge? Google, School, Historians, Wise old men and books.
