actually America was discovered by a Spaniard. And the people that colonized it came there because they didnt like the way their country was, they wanted a new start, or wanted religious freedom. Celebrating Christmas falls under 2 out of 3 of those categories. And we have freedom of religion so I guess that means Christmas is still legal here.
