Dan Posted August 16, 2010 Report Posted August 16, 2010 I set up that media center thingy today on my xbox, and put some movies on from my pc on it, about 26 films... For some reason it has put all my films on it, and anoter 198 random items I have never heard of called 'babyboymain' etc... I cant remove them or anything, or remove everything to start over. Any help?
jmdalmighty Posted August 16, 2010 Report Posted August 16, 2010 Ther are the built in items you can probbably find them some whare on your pc but I suggest you put the movies in a folder let's say you call it new movies put that folder incide your documents, videos that will help you locate the movies faster or you can activate media sharing then go through your xbox videos change it to your pc and go too the folder. Hope that helped 1
Dan Posted August 16, 2010 Author Report Posted August 16, 2010 Ive put all my movies into one folder now, and stuck it somewhere easy to find... But it now wont let me search for new stuff, on the pc etc. Every time I go to select stuff, say from my desktop, it just takes me back to the start of the search thingy. And when I try to remove stuff, it says there is nothing selected, when i've clearly selected everything...
michael iz pro Posted August 16, 2010 Report Posted August 16, 2010 do it bit by bit and if ur in windows 7 go to ur libraries folder and remove them if its still there go to "Account Name" E.G Dan>Video's>Sample Video's etc... dont have media center running at the same time as your deleting unwanted files 1
Dan Posted August 16, 2010 Author Report Posted August 16, 2010 Cheers, I just tried that, i've found the video's... Theres about 8 of them, not nearly 200? Also, I managed to update the Media Center so it just shows stuff on my desktop, yet there are still over 200 things there?

Also, I managed to update the Media Center so it just shows stuff on my desktop, yet there are still over 200 things there?Xbox and Media Center and very tricky and buggy. I tried to put some of my videos on my xbox before and the xbox froze. It wouldnt turn off when I pushed the button, it wouldnt respond to anything. I left it for like an hour then came back it it wanted to do a system update. I let it and after it updated none of my videos transfered and I had to re-find my PC. So I just stopped trying haha 1
Dan Posted August 16, 2010 Author Report Posted August 16, 2010 ROFL! I've now deleted all the baby boy things etc from my pc, and they are no longer there... Yet the media center seems to think they are! Even after I updated it... This is bullshit
jmdalmighty Posted August 17, 2010 Report Posted August 17, 2010 Don't use media player it sucks just download the "opetinal medial update" then stream it through the regular way my xbox>video libary>dans-pc>movie folder= this way is faster and supports more formats 1
