New power brick doesn't protect against surges

I never use those xD because I know that I will never have a power surge since EVERYTHING is regulated now.

 

The breaker will trip out before anything happens.

thats true, but its cheap and usefull for more plugs, and since my pc has important data it can`t hurt.
