halo3 Posted July 13, 2010 Report Posted July 13, 2010 New powerbrick doesn't protect against power surges lol, so this will be far worse then the rrod. Also this is almost imposible to repair because it will probably fry half the board if it gets a major surge. You would need to replace all the mosfets and stuff to try and repair it which is a heck of a job and probably won't work in the end lol. http://gamingbolt.com/2010/06/24/the-red-brick-of-death-new-xbox-360-already-rrodd/ 3
michael iz pro Posted July 13, 2010 Report Posted July 13, 2010 well, THAT SUCKS DONKEY ASSSSSSSSSHO AGREED Seriously.....Microsoft Made it sound like this 360 is the Omega they said it doesnt have Red Ring Of Death "Kinda" instead its Red Dot Of Death wow i dont feel like purchasing one now they just wanted to compete with the PS3 slim and rushed the designs :
Quinn Posted July 13, 2010 Report Posted July 13, 2010 Man oh man, I guess them MS boys can't do anything right. +1 for the info
jmdalmighty Posted July 13, 2010 Report Posted July 13, 2010 What they need to do is proper beta testing like give away 10 consoles to hackers modders and hardcore gamers to find all the bugs exploits and stress testing that way they can make improvments before the console ***** up and end up like xenons if Microsoft only realesed jaspers they wouldn't have lost billions in running reapers in europe out of 33million jaspers sold not one rrod so they did sumthing right eventually

Legendary Posted July 14, 2010 Report Posted July 14, 2010 Fixed Hahahaha, thats funny! You would think that MS would be smart enough to at least put a Surge Protector in it somewhere, I can't wait to see them when they get a load of broken XBox 360's because of a power surge.

SURGES ALMOST NEVER HAPPEN. Only during lighting, in which case unplug the damn console :/If you cant do that or use a 10$ surge protector then you fail at life.

I never use those xD because I know that I will never have a power surge since EVERYTHING is regulated now. The breaker will trip out before anything happens.
