So please close this thread after that time has gone by. Thanks! I'm not active here really, but I want this program to get attention so I can get some feedback. Read the press release here: http://fatxplorer.eaton-works.com/2010/07/09/fatxplorer-public-alpha-v2-0-0-3366/ ..and post comments here or there. Edited July 10, 2010 by Eaton

Eaton Posted July 10, 2010 Author Report Posted July 10, 2010 (edited) looks like it works will so does it support every type of 360 hardrives? usb/memmory card /dev hardrive/retal hardrive. Yes. It always supported all devices except USB, which was added in. If we bought the last version do we have to re-buy this version? What will be the price? It will be a free upgrade for existing customers and you will get an e-mail with instructions on how to activate when 2.0 is officially out. Edited July 10, 2010 by Eaton
jmdalmighty Posted July 10, 2010 Report Posted July 10, 2010 Y r u charging for this it dosent do sumthing new all can be done by other apps you have just combined to put them all thogher in a basic AIO?
DarkRuler Posted July 10, 2010 Report Posted July 10, 2010 Y r u charging for this it dosent do sumthing new all can be done by other apps you have just combined to put them all thogher in a basic AIO? its pretty much because he can and some people are stupid enough to pay when there are hundreds of FREE programs that do the exact same thing
gruntmods Posted July 10, 2010 Report Posted July 10, 2010 its pretty much because he can and some people are stupid enough to pay when there are hundreds of FREE programs that do the exact same thingId suggest using programs made for free, such as 360 commander and usb xtaf explorer.
iBotPeaches Posted July 10, 2010 Report Posted July 10, 2010 Strangely it works wonders with my 60gb Microsoft drive. No other program I've tried properly loads it.
Eaton Posted July 10, 2010 Author Report Posted July 10, 2010 Thank you for the positive comment, Peaches. To the reset of you, before you comment, read the article!!! And then come back here and tell me how that isn't a masterpiece.

And then come back here and tell me how that isn't a masterpiece. yeah I did and I still stand by my statement one thing I did notice with the program which was really annoying was that it would tell me the size of the folder itself, and it didn't include any of its contents, so it said that the folder's size was 0 bytes, which was annoying when I wanted to sort by size yes it is a good program, but it just seems like an AIO. You can still find many other programs that are completely free that will do much of the same things (like the programs GruntMods mentioned) and, for me, I won't be using my 360 HDD to mod anymore unless theres a new transfer cable for the 360 S's hdds

I can probably make it reflect the contents, but we'll see.. And this should be considered the only good AIO, lol. FATXplorer combines all of the unique features of all of those programs into one easy to use program without all of the hassles and crashes. And plus, I am on the verge of a breakthrough that could make writes to the drive faster than any of those above programs. Regardless, thanks for the feedback.

I think it should be made free, it would probably be used over all others and it would definitely benefit the modding community then add in extras for it that would cost people money Edited July 10, 2010 by DarkRuler
gruntmods Posted July 10, 2010 Report Posted July 10, 2010 I think it should be made free, it would probably be used over all others and it would definitely benefit the modding community then add in extras for it that would cost people moneyor make it open source and completely free and you wont get posts like this:http://www.xboxhacker.org/index.php?topic=15462.0I understand you put alot of effort into it, but so do other developers, yet it doesn't stop them. Hell, icepirs has to work 2 jobs to afford work on 360 commander, and slasher worked hard on XTAF. I understand that im not going to change your opinion, but please consider this and make a free version with features missing(but not a crippleware version).
Eaton Posted July 10, 2010 Author Report Posted July 10, 2010 (edited) I can't make this one free guys, sorry..If I do, do you know how many complaints I would get from my paying customers? That would ruin everything. People have paid for this and I can't just make it free like that. Maybe for future apps, though. Also, the alpha is currently broken and a fix is coming soon. Eaton Posted July 10, 2010 Author Report Posted July 10, 2010 (edited) you cant make a limited version? No, I do not want to make anyone angry. Making this free in any way would cause much more harm than good. Ok, enough of the discussion of the price and such, please get back on topic. Edited July 10, 2010 by Eaton

Ok, enough of the discussion of the price and such, please get back on topic. you could have 2 versions one thats just a like how it is now and another for paying customers that has extra features
Lockon Posted July 11, 2010 Report Posted July 11, 2010 Guys you's are failing to see the point here. Eaton has been helping the modding community for years now. This is probably the 2nd time he has asked to pay for a program. Btw Awesome app. 1

gruntmods Posted July 11, 2010 Report Posted July 11, 2010 you could have 2 versions one thats just a like how it is now and another for paying customers that has extra featuresHes already stated thats not what he wants to do.
Lockon Posted July 11, 2010 Report Posted July 11, 2010 but for a program that does nothing different than other FREE programs But who you think that made those free stuff?
gruntmods Posted July 11, 2010 Report Posted July 11, 2010 But who you think that made those free stuff?only members of the site...........
Eaton Posted July 11, 2010 Author Report Posted July 11, 2010 Hate .net 4.0 >_> Lol, why? I did extensive research on it before I made the move and I concluded that there was no reason not to upgrade. A superior IDE, better performance, more classes, and the fact that you are developing using the latest tools is something to be happy about.
