Warranty for Xbox 360 Slim Reduced to 12 Months?

According to Microsoft, the new Xbox 360 Slim will only offer one year of warranty on both the defects or system errors that will eventually lead to RROD. The company is confident that the new Xbox 360 Slim is the system that will not RROD.

 

Note x-s: In the European Union, warranty should be at least 2y for the New 360 though - as required by law for all consumer electronic devices.
