New Xbox 360 (valhalla) uses 10pct less power than Jasper

The new Xbox 360 console consumes 10% less power than existing Jasper Xbox 360s, GamerZines can reveal.

 

According to official statistics released by Microsoft, the new Xbox 360 only requires 135W of power while gaming, as opposed to the 150W the existing Jasper Xbox 360 requires.

 

According to Microsoft, the power consumption drops to just 1W when putting the new Slim 360 into standby, a whopping 50% reduction off the 2W the Jasper uses.
