Explaination about some DLCs

Hi guys, i have a question to submit:

i downloaded some Xbox 360 DLCs from my pc and, even if i don't have a JTAGged xbox 360, 2 DLC files weren't corrupt. i'm talking about left4dead 2 the passing, and assassin's creed DLC. how is it possible? the other DLCs are corrupted for my xbox.

i am also able to play left4dead 2 the passing, coz i updated my game on live!

Okay, let me try and understand this.

 

It seems you downloaded DLC content from another site? So I assume you have the content on your computer now, which is usually a random long string of letters and numbers. Those DLC files will work on a jtagged xbox, if you run them through a program that removes some of licensing and server checks.

 

However, you said you don't have a jtagged xbox. So it is impossible to run DLC (such as mappacks) on a retail xbox since you must resign that container file to your box. And as of now, resigning LIVE files is not possible. Do not confuse these with CON files, anything you download from the marketplace will be a LIVE file, and in game content such as Halo 3 maps will be CONs.

 

Is the L4D 2 DLC like an extra map?

Are you trying to get this new campaign with 3 extra game mods on your retail xbox? Is that add-on free?

Sorry, but that makes no sense at all. You downloaded DLC off the internet, onto your PC, then transfered it to your xbox and it worked. Everything I know (about a retail) screams that this is impossible. Can you link us to the site where you downloaded it? Did they have instructions on how to use it? The only way to get DLC (in my knowledge) without buying it is to use someone else's account that has the DLC, and do a license transfer.

i belive the new dlc for left for dead 2 isnt signd it was a free download with special eddition. (i think) so it shold be possable to get that but if it is signd then no it wont work. anything you pay for on the marketplace is alwas signd for if its free it may or may not just depends.

Oh i was going to say that this 2010'r is a lier 2hours to upload just under 200MB ? but then i looked at the things and said maybe its his connection speed

My Connection speed is 8 Mb Down / 400 Kb Up, so it is possible, when you live in Italy!

And i checked out, the dlc isn't free, it costs 560 G

So no one can give me an anwer? did it worked for you?
