Im getting the HP Pavilion Elite HPE-180t series. http://gadgetmix.com/index/wp-content/uploads/2009/10/e9110tseries_hp.jpghttp://www.blogcdn.com/www.engadget.com/media/2010/01/hp-pavilion-elite-hpe-desktop-pc,-top-viewjan09ces.jpg Operating System - Genuine Windows 7 Ultimate 64-bit Processor - Intel® Core i7-950 quad-core [3.00GHz, 1MB L2 + 8MB shared L3 cache] Memory - 12GB DDR3-1066MHz SDRAM [6 DIMMs] Hard Drive - 1TB RAID 0 (2 x 500GB SATA HDDs) 1GB ATI Radeon HD 5570 [DVI, HDMI, DP,VGA adapter] Primary Optical Drive - Blu-ray player & Lightscribe SuperMulti DVD burner Secondary Optical Drive - Blu-ray ROM (player) Networking - Premium Wireless-N LAN card Front Productivity Ports - 15-in-1 memory card reader, 1 USB, 1394, audio Sound Card - Creative Sound Blaster X-Fi Xtreme Audio Speakers - HP stereo speakers with subwoofer and remote 50W Keyboard and Mouse - HP wireless keyboard and HP wireless optical mouse Portable Media Drives - 320 GB HP Pocket Media Drive Productivity Software - Microsoft® Office Professional Edition 2007 Security Software - Norton 360(TM ) - 15 month
360 Posted April 1, 2010 Author Report Posted April 1, 2010 Build it yourself and save 500$ I was thinking about doing that, which will save me a bunch of money, but I wouldn't be able to do it, I am terrible at putting computers together, but my brother is really good at it, so I guess I should let him put it together. I will have money left over for other things.
360 Posted April 1, 2010 Author Report Posted April 1, 2010 (edited) Nice system, but how much? Hold on, I will check, my brother is going to put it together for me so I don't have to buy one and so I can save a bunch of money. Edit: About $2,137.98 or Maybe less, it depends. Quinn Posted April 1, 2010 Report Posted April 1, 2010 Please built it yourself, I have had unbelievable problems with HP before.
Pargy Posted April 1, 2010 Report Posted April 1, 2010 Do you really need that? Unless your running a shitload of programs you will pretty much never need that much ram. Also, build it yourself, its way cheaper, and it's really quite easy to assemble all the parts, you just stick stuff in the slots.
yungbol Posted April 1, 2010 Report Posted April 1, 2010 Throwing 2 grand away. Built it yourself! You can't stick parts in the corresponding slots to build a computer, but yet you claim to completely "remake" the 360 when it has RROD? O_o
Diggy Posted April 1, 2010 Report Posted April 1, 2010 Yeah dude, build your own. You could possibly save like $800.

You can't stick parts in the corresponding slots to build a computer, but yet you claim to completely "remake" the 360 when it has RROD? O_o I already said I am building it myself, I said I am bad at it because I have never attempted to build one before, and im not saying it's hard to do either, I just said it wrong in my post above, and what do you mean I claim to completely "remake" the 360 when it has Red Ring Of Death? I never said anything like that.

360 Posted April 2, 2010 Author Report Posted April 2, 2010 Thats halo3 I thought it was someone else, I was wondering why he was talking about me.
yungbol Posted April 2, 2010 Report Posted April 2, 2010 Yea, I got him and halo3 confused because of the two topics. His was about rep boosting though, not xbox fixing.

360 Posted April 3, 2010 Author Report Posted April 3, 2010 ...yeah you did. No I didn't...Proof please?
Pargy Posted April 3, 2010 Report Posted April 3, 2010 Look at all your old posts, literally all of them have rep. Just one example ---> http://www.ibotmodz.net/forum/topic/15366-building-your-own-computer/page__p__99253__fromsearch__1entry99253Why would people rep your two replies?

I don't know Pargy, but just because someone gave me 2 rep on my replies doesn't mean I rep boosted, but I don't want to get this topic closed so I don't want any more talk about this.
yungbol Posted April 7, 2010 Report Posted April 7, 2010 Your right, back on topic. Build one if you can, trust me it's easy.
Curtis Posted April 7, 2010 Report Posted April 7, 2010 Not always cheaper to build yourself, especially if your inexperienced. Many of these companys mass produce this shit and you can find some pretty good deals. I'd check out e-bay if i was you. Btw nice computer, i have something similar from HP
miinaturvat Posted April 7, 2010 Report Posted April 7, 2010 (edited) Do you really need that? Unless your running a shitload of programs you will pretty much never need that much ram. Remember 25 years ago, when 64KB of memory was concidered plenty, and you'd never need that much? Give it 3 years, and we'll see 12GB of memory as we see 64KB of memory now.
