I don't think that codes from the UK will work on Xbox accounts registered in the US. My friend who lived in England gave me a 3 month once, and I remembered it not working.

ya u make a second account which is british and buy your stuff of that and beacuse it signs it to ur 360 as well as the gt it should work

Subscription cards work everywhere, point cards only work in the country they are from.

 

And like jmd said, you can make a british account and it should work, i did it with a Canadian code.
