How to get Global Thermonuclear Warfare MW2

I spent awhile learning from Caboose and chocolate to become comfortable decompiling the buttons files and the patch files. I learned that the gametype is in fact just a button combo to obtain it. Which makes me really mad, because I thought it was something hidden within the files. If you would believe it, its as simple as.

 

set g_gametype gtnw

 

which gtnw stands for Global ThermoNuclear Warfare.

 

 

I set the dpad up to launch the developer buttons.cfg part then from that I think I used the A button to set the gametype, then I used dpad down to restart the game, and thus I had thermonuclear warfare. I'm sorry for the lack of details, but I'll edit it later showing my decompiled files. I thought I had them already, but I didn't so I'm too lazy to re-decompile my files.

Yep, the gametype sucks its official.

Can you rephrase that? "The gametype suck its official"

Did you mean "The Gametype officially sucks"?

Or "The gametype is now official and can be played regularly and therefor it sucks"?

Meaning, my opinion is the ultimate entity and thus when I say a gametype is bad, its the truth.
