Hi, sorry i i'm asking too much but i'm new.

I was wondering if there is another way to connect my xbox 360 to my pc, then whit the xbox 360 transfer cable.

I live in the netherlands, and the transfer cable isn't free anymore and i don't have a credit card. so it is hard to buy one.

I wanted to mod a map on halo 3, but i can't connect to my xbox.

I connected once whit my router, but i only can see pictures and videos nothing more.

Any help??:D

Nope, only the transfer cable or something along it's sort (Xport, xSata, etc.)

Although there is a free way which I did mines back in the day. Take apart the HDD with a torx screwdriver. Take the HDD from the casing. Open your PC and hook in a SATA data cable and a SATA power cable.

I don't know what a Jtagged is, but i'm sure that my xbox hasn't a jgtag. I just bought it, but i want to connect my xbox whit my pc so i can mod halo 3 maps.

Are you sure that it has to been jtagged, is there no other way??

You can't run a modified Halo 3, unless you can run a modified XEX which can only be ran unsigned on a dev kit or jtagged xbox. Neither of which you have, so yes there is no other way. You can buy xPort or xSata and play around doing lesser mods such as CON mods.

Yes, but thats a risk with any HD. Sometimes if I make a bad transfer in xPort it throws off a table or something, and my HDD is corrupted. Good thing being I backed it up on my computer. This has only happened twice, so I wouldn't count on it happening.

I had something along the lines of that happen once, but then the HDD seemed to recover itself when I plugged it back into my 360
