My Long Goal

i have a goal and i play to complete it

my goal was to get the killtrocity mappack and play it on my xbox 360

i have tried many times to play this mappack

but the one thing that is really disappointing is that i asked for help and never got it

now this is my final attempt to get it. i found this download

also i want to know how am i going to get it on the xbox

Building an ISO is easy. Just download QUIX and select the folder of the completed Halo 2 mappack and it builds it.

The package is total size of 437 MB, which is worth the download. The download contains several instructions how to get around the patching process and making it into a ISO, so you can burn it onto a DVD medium. Also you'll be advised to play this without the autoupdate, a short instruction will tell you how to edit the xbe..

- Serenity Auto-Patcher
- Qwix 1.01 - Nice application to make your ISO with and do other stuff.
- Instructions
- 44 serenity patches

There you go, you will need clean maps and you will need to patch it. There should be documentation with in the package, which should tell you everything you need to know. Then burn the ISO to a DVD DL +R and you should be good to go (Please feel free to correct me if I'm wrong)

Gather all the needed Halo 2 clean maps (Clean meaning unmodified maps)

 

Put those in the clean maps folder for the H2 Killtrocity v2 Install. Start the autopatcher and slowly the "modified maps" folder fills up. Then place those modified maps into a new Halo 2 structure.

 

The structure being

 

bink (folder)

media (folder)

maps (folder)

default.xbe (file)

That link holds all the needed files except for the .maps. So just place all those modded maps from the previous step into this downloaded structure. Use an xbe renamer as its currently set to "H2 Phantom v2"

BTW i was looking through my old hard drives and i found this an hour ago. its the killtrocity mappack v1

ok i downloaded the killtrocity mappack v2 and its already an iso file

now i only have one DVD+DL so i dont want to mess up. now what do i do to know its safe and how do i burn it?

I use DVD Decrypter.

 

Google that and simply load the ISO then burn away. (On a slow speed like 2x or 4x to prevent errors from writing too fast)
