ATTIKIT Posted January 27, 2010 Report Posted January 27, 2010 (edited) hey guys I just found a pre 8XXX xbox 360 that has little wear I am debating on buying it for 150.00 so Im just wondering is it hard to J-Tag it...I am alright at soldering and stuff but IDK every time I try and hard mod a console I screw up somewhere... So I am going to try and do it but I am sure that I will mess up when I try and flash the NAND.It wont be untill next week until I get it so tips are helpful. Edited January 27, 2010 by ATTIKIT
iBotPeaches Posted January 27, 2010 Report Posted January 27, 2010 Soldering a 360 is different from an xbox. When modding this time, your not shoving pins into LPC ports or putting cables on tiny traces. All the connections are on LPC ports that are filled in, with the exception of 1. Make sure your iron is less than 15 watts and you should be fine.
iBotPeaches Posted January 27, 2010 Report Posted January 27, 2010 That might murder your board, I would go lower. 1
