slasherking823 Posted December 10, 2009 Report Posted December 10, 2009 Alright so about last week or so 2 releases came out: 1. FreeBoot 0.2 2. XBreboot both have live/pirs/xex signature checks removed, basically the only difference is that XBreboot is for single nand where as Freeboot requires a cygnos v2/other dual nand To run these you need a JTAG box ( soldering + <849xx kernel) I already have done a lot(halo 3 mods/whatever) Fore more info i suggest reading at http://xboxhacker.net for rebooter stuff and http://free60.org for jtag setup
Grammaton Cleric Posted December 10, 2009 Report Posted December 10, 2009 XBreboot is outdated already, and freeBOOT 0.2 does not require cygnos v2. JTAG box means it's been freeBOOT'ed, and you need a kernal from before 2.0.8xxx.0, it has to be a 2.0.7xxx.0.
slasherking823 Posted December 10, 2009 Author Report Posted December 10, 2009 yes, i knowand xbreboot is NOT OUTDATED, it has more futures than freeboot(no pirs repack) and runs on a single nand
