Dark Slipstream Posted October 26, 2009 Report Posted October 26, 2009 Beleive it or not, the actual screen resolution doesn't affect a computers speed too much. -> Unless your using Vista/7, and use Aero. You could disable visual effects, that would improve performance.

You could disable visual effects, that would improve performance. Really? I lowered my computers res to 800 by 600 and its a lot faster.
