Bungie doesn't really care about people playing before the release date. Many sites and stores (including newegg) sold copies of ODST before the street date, so I doubt they will deny Recon for playing a bit before release.

Well obviously if you modded the achievements they can tell, either by checking them against your played games or through some other method.
