That's all that's actually required. lmao... Unless the filesize gets a little bigger, then you should also rebuild it, but whatever lol.

That doesn't really give much information on what else it does...

I know it changes the header of the file too, but that's not really necissary.

Does it do anything that can't be done in 10 seconds with a Hex Editor?

Yes it is, if you want it to work correctly.

What a LIVE to CON does is fixes the magic, fixes 2 bytes at 0x342, then redoes the hash tables at the correct location.

And the signature is smaller.

CON = 1024 bit

LIVE = 2048 bit

Correct me if I'm wrong.
