iBotPeaches Posted September 12, 2009 Report Posted September 12, 2009 Please only debate if you live in America, or live elsewhere and know enough to participate. I have 2 comments. The government currently owns the United Stats Postal Service, and they suck. Anytime I ship packages I use UPS, Fedex, or DHL. Never ever USPS. So that shows if the government took control of the health care system it would go down the drain since a private company always does better than a government job. Then my question. Who will pay for this major reform?
swatcinema Posted September 12, 2009 Report Posted September 12, 2009 us (by taxes) or by making use more in lose of money
Slidell Posted September 12, 2009 Report Posted September 12, 2009 (edited) Waiting for flames. Maybe I'll be surprised and there won't be flames. Well no one is posting so close enough to no flames. Edited September 13, 2009 by Slidell
crazyeightz Posted September 17, 2009 Report Posted September 17, 2009 it will be the tax payers money paying for it. i live in Canada so free health care which is awesome. i dont know to much about whats going on tho in the American Reform though. any care to give me a detailed explaination?
Dan Posted September 17, 2009 Report Posted September 17, 2009 Not trying to make the UK look good, or the US look bad... But we have a postal service run by the government and it is probably the best in the world, but meh. This topic isn't about postal services. America should get the same healthcare us brits do lol, so it won't cost you like $5k if you break your hand lol. Sorry if the previous was totally wrong, thats just what i've heard etc.
Decatur Posted September 18, 2009 Report Posted September 18, 2009 If you don't have health care and you go to an ER, you average about $4K per hour your being treated.
