SmokiestGrunl Posted January 16, 2008 Report Posted January 16, 2008 There is Roofus, Some other guy (forgot his name) and I think Anthony all know the hash codes, so they have the capability to mod if they wanted to. Roofus has already hacked recon and bungie armor. He also has hacked all achievements and has like 256k Gamerscore.
nielsss Posted January 16, 2008 Report Posted January 16, 2008 yep lol, and they decided not to share.
iBotPeaches Posted January 17, 2008 Report Posted January 17, 2008 Its actually good to prevent modders, destroying halo 3.
nielsss Posted January 17, 2008 Report Posted January 17, 2008 I joined modding sites to intent to mod halo 2 and any future halo games. I'm also a offline/custom modder. And i have never been banned for modding that prooves that i dont cheat to win (not saying i havent tried it lol...Gatte love BTB). Anyway i will disagree with you peach, for once . I see you're point though but im getting bored of halo 3 and i want something new.
sparta Posted January 17, 2008 Report Posted January 17, 2008 i wanna mod but then i don't want them to release the info because some @$$holes will use it to mod in matchmaking like in h2, which i never did because i modded for the fun of it
fattwam Posted January 17, 2008 Author Report Posted January 17, 2008 im getting bored of halo 3 and i want something new. so true
iBotPeaches Posted January 18, 2008 Report Posted January 18, 2008 Yeah I'm bored too, but giving out that resign code will put modders into the game, wait till AuotUpdate 1, where the bannhammer and new melees come. Then we can mod.
fattwam Posted January 18, 2008 Author Report Posted January 18, 2008 i also agree with you cheating in matchmaking is bad but halo 3 maps some are really big id love to jump across them with no death lines
.dice♥ Posted January 18, 2008 Report Posted January 18, 2008 who here would mod in matchmaking? i'm guessing no one, BECAUSE if u do, you'll get a big console ban if ur caught. Now that prevents modding matchmaking and cheaters.
sparta Posted January 18, 2008 Report Posted January 18, 2008 yea that would stop them but they eventually find some way around it probably involving open ur console and put some device or something in it also i don't know anyone here who did mod in MM but we aren't the only modding site
fattwam Posted January 19, 2008 Author Report Posted January 19, 2008 also true just like halo 2 there were un bannable patches that allowed you to mod
.Slack♠ Posted January 19, 2008 Report Posted January 19, 2008 wait till AuotUpdate 1, where the bannhammer and new melees come. Then we can mod.why do you say that?
.dice♥ Posted January 19, 2008 Report Posted January 19, 2008 its BETTER OFF if modding halo 3 doesn't come out to the public, ppl will just get themselves banned.
SmokiestGrunl Posted January 19, 2008 Report Posted January 19, 2008 I for one would just mod offline.
.dice♥ Posted January 19, 2008 Report Posted January 19, 2008 I for one would just mod offline. Would u mod via Harddrive, or DVD-Game
.Slack♠ Posted January 19, 2008 Report Posted January 19, 2008 I for one would just mod offline. Would u mod via Harddrive, or DVD-Gamei would hard drive
SmokiestGrunl Posted January 20, 2008 Report Posted January 20, 2008 I for one would just mod offline. Would u mod via Harddrive, or DVD-Game I would do both if necessary. Also I heard that modding the new maps is impossible (at least if you were connected to live). Because before the map load it does checks with the bungie server and if it has anything modified in it the map wont load.
