wireless 360 controller?

So i have halo 2 for my computer right. and the keyboard is realy anoying 2 use.. so i was wondering if i could take my wireless 360 controller and connect it 2 my pc.. i have the usb plug that connects the wireless controller 2 the pc.. but when i do it i get nothing.. i have windows vista btw

 

i was just wondering is it possible 2 connect a wireless controller to my pc.. if so then wat drivers or watever do i need and where can i get them
