Dan Posted August 15, 2009 Report Posted August 15, 2009 Hey, due to the help desk being a fail atm, i'll post this here aswell. Here goes... My pull start for my petrol skateboard has stopped working, and I was wandering if any of you could help me... Here's a vid showing the problem: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=IjZtTIYVo4I If you didn't understand the vid, when I pull the rope, the engine doesn't turn over... I think the clutch is slipping when im pulling it, and its not gripping so the engine wont turn over. It's not problems with the engine, as I can manually turn it over but not start it. Here are some pics:http://i223.photobucket.com/albums/dd116/crazy2dan/S7301025.jpg http://i223.photobucket.com/albums/dd116/crazy2dan/S7301026.jpg Thanks, and hope you can help
Dan Posted August 15, 2009 Author Report Posted August 15, 2009 When and how did the problem start? It happened quite a while ago. If I knew how the problem started I would no how to fix it
Curtis Posted August 15, 2009 Report Posted August 15, 2009 I've had the same problem with many things, except im never the one to fix it. Your right tho, it's slipping. Have you tried putting it back together and tightening the screws? I don't think its a clutch... there's no gears on it lol. Its the starter which turns the crank, which moves the piston. So im guessing whatever spins the starter is slipping. Thats all i can tell.
