Hey, due to the help desk being a fail atm, i'll post this here aswell.

Here goes... My pull start for my petrol skateboard has stopped working, and I was wandering if any of you could help me...

Here's a vid showing the problem:

If you didn't understand the vid, when I pull the rope, the engine doesn't turn over... I think the clutch is slipping when im pulling it, and its not gripping so the engine wont turn over.

It's not problems with the engine, as I can manually turn it over but not start it.

Here are some pics:

Thanks, and hope you can help :)

I've had the same problem with many things, except im never the one to fix it.

Your right tho, it's slipping.

Have you tried putting it back together and tightening the screws? I don't think its a clutch... there's no gears on it lol.

Its the starter which turns the crank, which moves the piston. So im guessing whatever spins the starter is slipping.

Thats all i can tell.

The clutch is the small bolt in the centre, it's called a one way clutch.

Thanks for your help :)

Lol well did you get it fixed, it must be slipping off the clutch, anyway to tighten/ re-atatch?
