Parents Reading Messages

Jesus Christ I was caught cussing (really explicitly) on xbox live by mom and she said if this is the way I talk that she's gonna read my text messages when I get texting again.

 

Is there any possible way that she can do that? Online of course.

 

I have AT&T and a Sony Ericson.

On certain cell phone companys, whoever is in charge of the phones, can have all texts forwarded through her phone first. But thats only some companys, my mom tried, but i just deleted any terrible ones lol.

Never heard of it, although she could probably set it up via the company. Text from an alternate service like email gateways? That way she cant intercept them in the event the company allows such monitoring.

I heard that she can only see who I send messages too, not the message and that they only way that she could read them if a court report was filed and if it was under an illegal situation.

Well since your under 18, and your mother is your legal guardian, she can read whatever she wants.

I think you've misunderstood, he means that the company doesn't go through the effort of supplying messages unless there is a court order.

yes some cell phone companies can track each individual txt message. and usually they can track picture messages too.
