popolskusausage Posted July 17, 2009 Report Posted July 17, 2009 so i was wondering if anyone could make a modded map for me... i think it would be pretty fun for the most part. Basically i am asking someone to make an edit of the map sandtrap where each elephant has invisible walls around it and spawn points for each team ON the elephant. It would be pretty fun i think, like a pirates game for the most part. If possible, to make one team be able to board on to the other elephant despite the invisible walls. Like i said its just a request. i dont know how to mod but it just seems like a good idea to me.

I've done it before with teleporters, but I don't know how the game knows they're attached to the elephant. But I'll experiment with it and see if I can do it.

But I'll experiment with it and see if I can do it.the elephant has its own gravity pretty much, almost any object placed in its "central box" of the elephant will make the spawn move with it. like the spawn points, mongoose and turret thats on it normally. the box is almost a perfect cube around the elephant but it doesnt reach the very bottom or top of the ele. like it stays just below the top of the crane. some objects like weapon holders have a tendancy to not click to the box. for the sides the box covers everything that you can see. so if you flip the ele and place something there it will stay. for the walls i would recommend just putting turrets on the sides, back and front. but for the sides i would recomment you put the ele on its side and plave the turret in the middle on it. then using a program like forge 2.5 rotate it so its standing strait up.
