I just bought a new computer, a desktop. Pretty good for the price. Came to a total of 409.00 USD. Has a AMD Anthlon X2 2.3GHz and 4GBs of RAM. I decided to keep my 22.5inch HDTV Widescreen for the monitor w/ built in HD audio. The computer has 320GBs with Windows Vista Home Premium and has a free upgrade to Windows 7. The ship date is scheduled at August 5th.

What brand or custom?

If you bought dell then blah. They are only cheaper because all their parts are foreign and pieces of crap. Mine is at 900, with still 2 parts to go. I got a tad better mobo though :)

It's a Dell. But I wanted to buy an HP but since my mom was buying it she wanted me to have a Dell >.< Even though I still have to pay it all off... Oh wells. It's still a pretty good computer for the price I bought it for.

900$ and still not finished? I think buying a computer over 1000$ is crazy and ridiculous.. But that's my opinion.

Do you get the drivers CDs for all the extras you have? Do you get the install CD for the operating system on dell?

Do you get all the extra screws for the case and motherboard?

Dell buys its inferior parts from old PCs around the world and put them in everything. One day you'll understand. Theres nothing better than purchased parts assembled by yourself. Saves 3rd party companies from piling your computer with pre-installed crap.

Build yo' shit n word.

Dell is legit crap parts, they jip you with parts that aren't properly built, or way too fragile. I had 3 Dells at one point, from stealing from school. All their hard drives crapped out within a month. The generic brand RAM (DDR2 800 240pin) isn't compatible with my other desktop even though it matches the speed of the current ram. Ergo, it is crap.

Custom build with Kingston, Western Digital, Gygabyte and AMD :D
