lostmodz26 Posted July 10, 2009 Report Posted July 10, 2009 (edited) Well literally 5 minutes ago, my Acer Aspire One netbook started to randomly shut down. So I thought, what the heck just let it shut down then and I'll restart. I wait 5 seconds after the computer turns off and I turn it on. Then randomly a siren goes off like crazy. I get scared, because I'm not getting a new comp in a long time. So I turn it on again, same thing happens. Now I turn it on third time 5 minutes later and its working. I don't know what the hecks going on, but it scared me. I'm typing this from my acer, so if anyone knows anything about why its doing this, then please tell me. BTW - I think my warranty is still available, they better send me back a new computer or fix it or else I'm not kidding I'll burn it if it actually does crash. >>EDIT<< I did some research and this guy seems to have the same problem: http://forum.notebookreview.com/showthread.php?t=333878 Edited July 10, 2009 by lostmodz26

miinaturvat Posted July 13, 2009 Report Posted July 13, 2009 See, you want dell. they're much better. You can put an XP CD in a DELL machine and it will install without asking for a serial number! It's brilliant
