littlechikon Posted July 9, 2009 Report Posted July 9, 2009 Alright so i restored my computer and put a lot of stuff on my Corsair 16gb Flash Voyager. When i first plugged it in my newly restored computer i opened it up and it wouldnt let me copy things to my desktop. Then it changed from drive label "Corsair" to removable disk f. when i try and click on the disk it says "insert a disk into drive f". I unplugged the usb and plugged it into another usb port. It came up as corsair and then the same thing happened. I also tried in safe mode and it came up as removable disk f. I have really important things on this drive that i need to get off. Is there anyway? Thanks

blacklabelfosho Posted July 9, 2009 Report Posted July 9, 2009 try pee'ing on the drive. usually works great for me
Random1225 Posted July 9, 2009 Report Posted July 9, 2009 Not sure if we have the same problem, but I had that problem on an older computer. It wouldn't do anything if the drive was in. It would say nothing was plugged in. I think I restarted it and it worked.
littlechikon Posted July 9, 2009 Author Report Posted July 9, 2009 no i dont have to restart my computer. I tried it on another computer and nothing. Its not drivers either since it worked at one point.
Dataanti Posted July 9, 2009 Report Posted July 9, 2009 YOU BROKE IT XD ha lol i bet it just broke or something, or something you copied onto it jipped it over, i know when i copied Halo CE to my flashdrive off the disk, it thought it was a disk and it got messed over and i had to throw it out cause i couldnt delete it
miinaturvat Posted July 9, 2009 Report Posted July 9, 2009 You broke your USB stick. You'll have to forat it. You can't get the stuff off it
Korupt Data Posted July 9, 2009 Report Posted July 9, 2009 you could try using unstopable copier to get some files off it.
littlechikon Posted July 10, 2009 Author Report Posted July 10, 2009 (edited) you could try using unstopable copier to get some files off it. I'm googling it right now =] Edit: Didnt work Edited July 10, 2009 by littlechikon
miinaturvat Posted July 10, 2009 Report Posted July 10, 2009 You've not done anything stupid like turned the lock on or something, have you? When you plug it in to your PC, can you view the files? If not, you could try taking it apart and soldering it up to a USB cable, instead of the USB end it has now. For all you know, it could be the USB connector that's broken.
