LightwaveRave Posted July 3, 2009 Report Posted July 3, 2009 Well, I finally found my Xbox that's been in storage for the last couple of years... Now I know why. Apparently, I was trying to do a TSOP flash, because the board around the Flash is really burnt out, though I can't tell if anything's actually broken. My question is this - Can I fix this Xbox, or should I just get a new one? http://img269.imageshack.us/img269/8949/picture001jir.jpghttp://img9.imageshack.us/img9/2653/picture002tui.jpgSorry for low quality pics, I lost my good camera's charger.
blacklabelfosho Posted July 3, 2009 Report Posted July 3, 2009 Give it a bath. scrub thoroughly with SnoBolhttp://content.etilize.com/Large/11961520.jpg make sure you use this, it is the best cleaner for holes in your motherboard.
iBotPeaches Posted July 3, 2009 Report Posted July 3, 2009 Also get an exacto blade, or however you call it. Then cut around where that trace is lifted then I usually lay a new wire in its place and re-touch up the sides.
