How to jailbreak 3.0 firmware

Steps:

• Make sure you have the 3.0 firmware on your iPod/iPhone before you do this, if you don't know how, then look at this tutorial, Link, Make sure you keep the firmware!!!
• Then download Redsn0w at the bottom of this page.
• Once done, open it, click browse and look for the EXACT firmware you restored with.
• Once loaded, click next and make sure Cydia is checked! Then click next.
• Now, plug your iPod/iPhone in and then hold the power button until the 'Slide to Shutdown' comes up and shut it down, and wait about 10 seconds.
• Okay, now get ready, click next and hold the power button for 3 seconds, then without letting it go, hold the power button for 10 seconds, and then let go of the power button and wait until the download screen pops up in Redsn0w.
• Now just set your iPod/iPhone down and let it do the work until it gets rebooted!

Notes:

• You can unlock your iPhone (not 3g/s) with redsn0w.
• The windows version is accessible with vista.
• The mac version only works with intels.

Tip:

• If you want to re-sync your cracked apps on your 3.0 firmware, go into cydia and add 'cydia.hackulo.us' as a source. Then go to Sections>Hackulo>'AppSync for OS 3.0' and install it. Now you may now sync cracked apps on your 3.0 iPod/iPhone.

and i ment if i bought the update when it first came out and i install it to my ipod and i cant find the file to jailbrake it
