Justrec Posted June 9, 2009 Report Posted June 9, 2009 (edited) The reason I don't use firefox. I just installed it and it works fine, but i click about 5 things then it stops responding, says this, and If I want to use it again, I have to restart my computer. I don't rush and press links.. http://i384.photobucket.com/albums/oo289/Justrec/reasonfirefoxsucks.jpg I exit it out when it stops responding. I click it again, then that pops up. Its not actually running so theres no way for me to close it. Edited June 9, 2009 by JUSTREC

Dark Slipstream Posted June 9, 2009 Report Posted June 9, 2009 service packs have nothing to do with it lol, I love how everyone thinks those are relevant. SP2 is only required, and comes with every windows versions (pirated or not) nowadays -.-

SP2 for Vista just got released a few weeks ago. Many times Service Packs have alot of effect.

iKhaosmaster Posted June 9, 2009 Report Posted June 9, 2009 It does that to me to. Open task manager and end the firefox.exe process and then it'll work. I usually just wait 10 seconds because firefox usually uses 35,000 kbs of memory so it takes a few seconds to end.
Justrec Posted June 9, 2009 Author Report Posted June 9, 2009 (edited) Wont start after a few seconds... -.- Thanks khaos. Actually worked until it crashes again. Edited June 9, 2009 by JUSTREC
mangriff32 Posted June 9, 2009 Report Posted June 9, 2009 I had the same problem, and what was wrong with mine was that some of Firefox's files were corrupted, i couldn't delete or move them, so just run a chkdsk /r and that made everything work out.
Decatur Posted June 9, 2009 Report Posted June 9, 2009 CTRL+ALT+Delete, find firefox.exe, end process, reopen.

lostmodz26 Posted June 10, 2009 Report Posted June 10, 2009 The only reason why I like Vista is because of the appearance and graphics technologies. And even to experience that you need a $1000 computer. Just forget about Vista and downgrade to XP, that's what people do. Just use chrome for now, it works pretty good on Vista.
Justrec Posted June 10, 2009 Author Report Posted June 10, 2009 (edited) Yes Quinn. I got that when Peaches said it. Do you have a solution? Other than downgrading? Edited June 10, 2009 by JUSTREC
.MeLo♥ Posted June 11, 2009 Report Posted June 11, 2009 Gotta to ctrl alt delete then end the firefox.exe in process's
