xxpakarxx Posted June 6, 2009 Report Posted June 6, 2009 I really need a tutorial for adding a grunt tag to multiplayer, not just any character, I just can't get it right, can someone please help me?
iBotPeaches Posted June 6, 2009 Report Posted June 6, 2009 You need to extract the grunt from a campaign map in Entity, then build/inject it into the MP map. Thats the most difficult part
xxpakarxx Posted June 6, 2009 Author Report Posted June 6, 2009 You need to extract the grunt from a campaign map in Entity, then build/inject it into the MP map. Thats the most difficult part I know, but I need to know what hud to give him, and what sounds to give him.. I read the heretic elite in MP tutorial and it is really confusing on how to give it sounds, it's not clear enough, maybe if there was a video tutorial or something. It just needs to be more clear and I need it for grunts. can you maybe help me Peaches?
iBotPeaches Posted June 6, 2009 Report Posted June 6, 2009 What sounds? Sound editing is very difficult. Just use their built in sounds from other maps and just switch them. Changing the HUD is a whole different tutorial, which requires Yelo to place correctly.

iBotPeaches Posted June 7, 2009 Report Posted June 7, 2009 HUDs aren't different. The campaign HUD is identical to MP HUD. There is no HUD for the computers cause they don't need one. You make your own huds.

I think I can swap it in the dependency swapper though.
