a teachers involvement in a students life.

 

how much should a teacher be involved in a students life? how much should they be allowed to be involved? what is the limit?

should teachers be allowed to push themselves into students lives should they be allowed to even punish students. what do you guys think?

I think it would put too much pressure on kids.

Teachers have the power the give us detentions, give us suspensions, remove us from trips, etc. Basically everything except charging us and expulsion.

 

I don't mind it, if you don't break the hardcore rules (Drugs & Alcohol) then you don't get in trouble lol.

^ Not what they meant. They mean like teachers getting into students personal lives, and trying to help them out.

I believe a teacher shouldn't be allowed to push themselves into a student's life, the student must make that decision. Edited June 5, 2009 by swampy666

I think that teacher's should be able to maybe push students just a little bit more.
