Hey guys im new to vb, so i made my first program and i want to see what other people think about it. Well anyways its a New Map Downloader. Please comment telling me what you thought about it and what should be changed...

I never flame anyone. What I was going to say is that I removed the direct links which will make the app no longer work. And if he wants the permanent links for an app he is going to need to contact me so he can be put on the sites allow list. It only takes me like 2 minutes to randomize all of the links to make them invalid. So yeah : P Edited May 20, 2009 by robert_hehn

Robert i really need the direct links then man....i was in the middle off making a program...not an aio or map downloader it just has the option to download the maps i you want aswell. but i really need the direct links...pm me.

As far as I'm concerned using someones direct links to giant files without asking is not acceptable.

 

Robert made an app already and if it didn't work, ask him for support. I'll lock this till I get an okay that it can be here.

Why would you put Cold Storage in a seperate category?

I'd say drop the 'old map new map' scheme as well, sort them as Disk and DLC.

That's a simple program to make............ He probably uses an invisible web browser to navigate to the links download page which makes a pop up open and downloads them. It's that simple. You could also just download the .map files and embed them into the program for them to download or you can upload to your own server and so on and so forth.
