Halo 3 turret glitch

I was wondering if the turret glitch still works?

ive seen some youtube vids of them where they will get their health all the way down then tear of the turret and their will be a clone

if anyone knows please post.

Ok, you know how when you rip off a turret your hurt a little. Well, you gotta hurt your self then rip it off and if the rip would have killed you a clone will appear.

the "clones" only last a little while :[ i used to have a map and gametype on my fileshare (with a **** load of downloads lol)

The "Clone" is your dead body, but with the wrong 'animation' (is that the right word? ). Instead of the death animation, it becomes the turret-holding animation.

 

They'll last as long as a normal dead body will last.

I remember the day that the legendary mappack came out when they fixed almost all turret glitches. I really don't think its patched.
